I've long ago given up on quitting Minecraft. Lately, they way I play is attempting to use up inventory. Seems easy enough. I notice there's too many chests full in my main build bases. I build another structure block.
I used up all the blocks, except for the wood. I don't like to build with logs or wood blocks, probably because of lava, and burning what I built down by accident? Or too easy to break blocks with no tool, maybe? So I decided, in this boring flat grass area to build a very long fence and use up all the wood blocks. And I had three or four teal stem fence piles, and more stem piles of 64 "logs" to build with.

I used up those stems pretty easy, then started in on the other chests of jungle logs and birch. And before I expected I had used up all the logs I'd accumulated over years of playing. The problem is always the same, I was going somewhere.
There's a rail junction to the city, and I thought it was at 22k something, but of course after I checked, it's not, it's at 28k something, so I start chopping down all the bamboo I had planted around the garden under base one. Replanting one shoot as I go chopping along of course, building the fence and returning a few times, then I remembered I'd found another one of those mansions I hate. I'd already chopped one down to the foundation, removing all the blocks, and building a nice light survival hub in its place had taken weeks of nightly playing, but this time, I just wanted enough sticks to stretch my bamboo fence, to make it to that connecting rail. So I went searching for a birch forest. And instead of course found some crazy layer cake built world instead, chunks imported, then world deleted years ago, because it's my last world, a world created out of a patchwork quilt of many, many past worlds, anyways.
To make this incredibly boring story short, I ran out of fence and went and collected more logs and bamboo for fence several times. And ended up refilling my dye inventory with flowers collected as I chopped and placed fence posts. And dye leads to colored cement, terracotta and colored glass, and that leads to more building to use up inventory.
Four screenshots took of the latest 48 x 48 x 48 structure block built to use up inventory, just before I started on the fence.

The finished structure block is for current OCD reasons a cube. Finished structure block cube #142
It's stacked on another structure block cube that's just mud and gravel.
